<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Osteogenic differentiation is a key process in the formation and regeneration of bone tissue, tightly regulated by various molecular mechanisms. One of the major regulators of this process is the Notch signaling pathway, which can either inhibit or promote osteogenesis depending on the stage of differentiation. This review discusses the main stages of osteogenic differentiation, the role of the Notch signaling pathway in regulating the activity of bone-forming cells, and potential approaches to its targeted modulation for the treatment of diseases associated with impaired bone remodeling and pathological calcification.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>остеогенная дифференцировка</kwd><kwd>сигнальный путь Notch</kwd><kwd>мезенхимные стволовые клетки</kwd><kwd>остеобласты</kwd><kwd>патологическая кальцификация</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>osteogenic differentiation</kwd><kwd>Notch signaling pathway</kwd><kwd>osteoblasts</kwd><kwd>mesenchymal stem cells</kwd><kwd>pathological calcification</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Работа выполнена при поддержке гранта Российского научного фонда 23-15-00320.</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">This work was supported by a grant from the Russian Science Foundation 23-15-00320.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Ali A, Yun S.
